Imagine an Eden-like garden with suites amid fragrant foliage where wooden shutters filter the light in your spacious bedroom, and your verandah provides an ideal spot for relaxation. The verandah suites are open and breezy, yet secluded and intimate. The architecture is Caribbean, the colors Jamaican, the air so naturally fragrant, you'll think of something to do before breakfast.

The Main restaurant overlooking swimming pool serves fresh healthy international fare inspired by the tastes of the Caribbean.

Feathers, gourmet restaurant, features continental and creative Caribbean cuisine in a colorful Caribbean decor to complement a menu full of international delights, native flavors and island specialities that range from spicy to sinfully delicious.

The Sea Grape Café located beachside specializes in authentic Jamaican cuisine and has a casual and relaxed atmosphere.

Romantic days begin with a leisurely continental breakfast served on your verandah. The Veggie Bar serves fresh fruit, fruit juices, pita sandwiches, a variety of salads and vegetarian dishes. Four bars are praised for their fresh fruit concoctions and frozen thirst quenchers as well as an assortment of premium brand liquors.

Beachside grill serves grilled chicken breast and grilled fish sandwiches.

Tennis.
Swept Away has a world class tennis facility that is unique in the Caribbean. It is voted by United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTR) "Tennis Facility of the Year 1996". Tennis Facility and Program, Ten tennis courts - five hard courts and five clay courts are flood lit for night play. Two stadium courts are perfect for tournaments. Three daily clinics (beginners, intermediate and advanced) and daily tournaments (with prizes) are hosted by visiting tennis pro. In addition there are three resident tennis pros who are available to play with you or give individual lessons. And at the end of the day our Matching and Ranking Program is designed to find a partner at your level.

Golf.
Ulimited golf is provided at the Negril Hills Golf Club. This 18 hole course is just ten minutes from the resort. Transportation and green fees are incuded. You just concentrate on your game. The 120 acre par 72 course is challenging. The wind and the 6,600 yards of rolling hills come into play. Facilities at Negril Hills include a club house, pro shop and driving range. Carts and caddies are available for an extra charge.

Swimming.
In the center of the Sports Complex is a 25 meter Lap Pool is ideal for the serious swimmer who wants to include distance swimming as part of a fitness regime. The free form swimming pool located near the beach is a great place to relax for the less energetic.

Court Sports.
Air conditioned Squash Courts and Racquetball Courts are perfect for hardwood racquet players. 2 Racquetball Courts , 2 Squash Courts, Racquetball and Professional Basketball Court.

Fitness/Gym.
Fitness at Swept Away Free fitness evaluations are provided for all guests and then customized an individual training program to begin at the resort and then take home to continue. Fitness instructors are certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association and are always happy to provide guidance and encouragement. Sports classes and activities begin daily at 7 a.m. for early birds and go on until 7 p.m. and the Sports Complex remains open to 11 p.m. Gym is fully equipped with state-of the art equipment, a Parcourse fitness circuit, bicycles, an aerobics studio, jacuzzis, saunas and steam rooms. Expert instructors are ready for the hardbodies and even those of us who just want to keep it together. Other facilities include 1/2 Mile Jogging Track, Table Tennis, Billiard, Steam room, Sauna, Massage, Jacuzzi, Beverage Bar, Pro Shop.

Swept Away's Spa provides a wide assortment of beauty and relaxation treatments. These include body wraps, body scrubs, mineral baths, massages, facials, waxing, pedicures and manicures. Spa treatments are not complimentary but are very competitively priced. An aromatherapist specializes in skin and body treatments originating from fresh ingredients and essential healing oils made for masks and scrubs. Prepared daily, the ingredients are fashioned after your individual needs.

Watersports

Swept Away is located on Negril's spectacular seven mile white sand beach. Lovers of water sports will find a wide variety of activities to chose from. If sailing is your thing, we offer sailing on Aqua and Hobie Cats, Hobie Waves, Prindles Escapes and Sunfish Sailboats. You can explore the turquoise waters and rich Caribbean reef culture on daily supervised snorkeling trips or take a ride on a Glass Bottom Boat tours. Underwater visibility averages 90 feet. Take a trip on the wild side, try the Mistral windsurfing boards. Water skiing is excellent utilizing tristar 190 Mastercraft or Barefoot 200 Mastercraft ski boats. These boats allow you to experience wake and knee boarding activities. Experience more sedate rides on the kayaks, pedal boats and hydro bikes. Highly trained water sports team is always on hand to provide professional instructions. Water sports clinics are operated on a daily basis.

PADI international resort dive center offers a variety of courses and dives to suit everyone from beginner to advanced diver. The equipment is the top of the line - Sherwood equipment. Two thirty foot covered dive boats that have been adapted to suit stride entry or back roll entry. The resort provides caddy service and will take your tanks to the boat and help you gear up aboard. Complete beginners can start with our resort divers course. After completion of the hotel resort divers course, you are able to go on the beginners' dive held Sunday to Friday at 11 am. PADI certification courses are also offered. If you are already certified by a international diving body such as PADI, BSAC, or NAUI, you can go on any two of the three dives offered daily. All the costs of diving are complimentary with the exception of PADI certification and night dives.

Dance The Night Away To The Music Of Swept Away. Strut your stuff on the dance floor with reggae moves you didn't know you had. Take in Tropical Fantasy floor shows. Surrender to the sounds of the surf and the rhythms of the island.

You can choose from a dramatic oceanside setting complete with sunset, or serenely secluded spots such as South Lawn, where splashes of sunlight dance through a forest of tropical trees. The legalities of Jamaica's marriage requirements are simple. The wedding coordinator works with you to ensure your wishes are fulfilled. You will be treated to a complementary bottle of champagne upon arrival, plus two half-hour massages and a weekly honeymoon party!
