AROUND PARIS:

Here are few examples of the fabulous castles we have available in and around the city of Paris:

Le Manoir: is only 40 km from Paris, in the country. This wonderful country inn has a beautiful park where you can go jogging, play golf and swim in the heated swimming pool. Each room has a special name such as "Casanova" or "Pompadour". The kitchen is very famous for having the best food and French wines anywhere. The living room has a huge fireplace giving it a warm cozy atmosphere.

Hostellerie Le Clos: is about one hour from Paris. Built by the King of England Henry the 1st in the 12th century, this castle is at the limit of the Parisian region and Normandy. Enjoy beautiful wood furniture, fine paintings, and romantic fireplaces throughout the castle. You will have access also to a gymnasium, fishing, hunting, and jogging facilities.

THE LOIRE VALLEY:

The Loire Valley is known for its selection of Chateaux Hotels. If you are planning to visit the Loire Valley, and its beautiful castles, you might want to enjoy a stay at one of these famous Chateaux.

Castle de la Cree: It is said this château is a haven of peace and happiness in the vineyards of the Côte de Beaune. An authentic 18th century manor house, Château de La Crée has been sympathetically restored, and your hosts, the Remy-Thévenin family, welcome guests into an atmosphere of warmth and refinement.

 

 

 

Guest rooms are luxurious and spacious with carefully-chosen period furnishings, and all have palatial private baths. Dinners au château are in a converted 15th - 17th century cellar with a vaulted ceiling, and your selection from a price fixed, eight-course menu is a culinary adventure. An added bonus is the wine list -- wines from Château de La Crée's own domaines bearing the labels Domaine Remy-Thévenin, Roland Thévenin & Fils, and Domaine Louis Remy. Manoir des bruyéres: "Speechless" may be the word to describe your reaction when you first set eyes on Le Manoir des Bruyères.

This delightful XVIII century manor house is crowned with a distinctive Burgundian patterned roof in the style ofthe Hôtel Dieu in Beaune.

The interior -- from the magnificent ceilings to the beautiful carpets -- is exquisite. Four-poster beds await you in many of the guest rooms, and the period furnishings throughout create an atmosphere of history and a sense of style.

BRITTANY:

Chateau de Boucéel: Only 18 kilometers from Le Mont St-Michel not far from the border of Normandy and Brittany, Chateau de Boucéel is an historic listed building set in a superb English-style country garden complete with a pond and an island.

The charm and tranquility of this 12th century estate will be long remembered after your return home. The chateau itself was constructed in 1763 in the Saint-Malo style by a marquis for his wife.
