For light refreshments, a cool drink, or just relaxing, the Giardino d'Inverno (Winter Garden) is a marvelous retreat-light and airy with a domed, old-fashioned skylight, potted plants, and nostalgic wicker furniture. The Helvetia and Bristol is expensive, but no more so than the other luxury hotels in Florence, and for those who appreciate quality and refinement, it is unsurpassed.
