Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House at the MGM Grand Hotel Casino took honors as the best restaurant here, according to the 1998 Zagat Survey of America’s Top restaurants.

Other Zagats best bets for meals included the Sterling Brunch at Bally’s, Andre’s french restaurant in the Monte Carlo, Michaels at the Barbary Coast, the Circus Circus Steak House and Spago in the Forum shops at Ceasars.

Also, Morton’s of Chicago, Piero’s, Mayflower Cuisinier, Binion’s Steakhouse, Hugo’s Cellar at the Four Queens, Buzio’s in the Rio, Moongate at the Mirage, Fiore Rotisserie Grille at the Rio and Stefano’s at the Golden Nugget.
