Discover Alaska's diverse cultures at the Alaska Native Heritage
Center, then take a short flight to Fairbanks, Alaska's frontier city.
See the Alaskan pipeline connecting Arctic oil fields with the Port of
Valdez before settling into your hotel.
3. Gold Rush Camp Mine / Optional Excursion to Barrow
Explore the cultural heritage of Fairbanks (including panning for
gold), or take an optional roundtrip jet excursion to the Arctic
community of Barrow (additional $399 per person). Join us tonight for
a "salmon bake" and musical revue.
4. Chena River Paddlewheel Boat / Denali National Park
Experience the pleasures of a paddlewheel boat ride on the Chena
River, followed by a brief sightseeing tour of Fairbanks. Travel
through Alaska's interior to Denali National Park, and enjoy a
two-night stay overlooking the lovely Nenana River.
5. Explore Denali National Park
Discover the natural treasures of Denali, home to moose, Dall sheep,
grizzly bears and Mount McKinley. Join us tonight for a special
Alaskan dinner experience.
6. Private Prince William Sound by Floatplane
A 3-hour adventure by floatplane takes you over the Chugach Mountains
to Prince William Sound and the massive glaciers of College Fjord;
arrive Alyeska Resort.
7. Rail Journey to Seward / Kenai Peninsula Private Cruise
Board a private dome car on the great Alaska Railroad and journey
south to Seward on the Kenai Peninsula for an exclusive boat cruise
through Resurrection Bay and a visit to the Alaska SeaLife Center;
return to the resort for a special dinner.

9. Cruise Prince William Sound Day at
Sea
Cruise through College Fjord this morning, home to 16 glaciers named
for Ivy League colleges; spot unique wildlife in Prince William Sound,
surrounded by mountains and harboring Alaska's greatest concentration
of tidewater glaciers.
10. Glacier Bay Cruising Day at Sea
Awaken to the incredible sights of Glacier Bay National Park, from
migrating humpback whales to a great variety of bird and animal life
including seals, eagles and bears. Spend the entire day at sea, and
join us this evening for a cocktail party.
11. Skagway / Rafting / Yukon & White Pass
Railway
Explore historic Skagway, gateway to the Klondike gold fields; tour
the town, then board a ferry for a cruise on Lynn Canal to Haines. A
rafting adventure through the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve provides an
unequaled opportunity to view America's national emblem in their
natural habitat. Board the exciting narrow-gauge White Pass and Yukon
Railway for a three-hour rail excursion that takes you along the route
of adventurous gold-seekers; your ship sails from Skagway this
evening.
12. Discover Juneau / Tramcar up Mt.
Roberts
Cruise to the capital city of Juneau, accessible only by air or sea;
the lovely city is set on a narrow strip of land between the Coast
Mountains and the Gastineau Channel within the boundaries of the
Tongass National Forest. Sightseeing includes a journey by tramcar
adorned in colorful Tlingit art to the top of Mount Roberts and a
Tlingit Presentation. Enjoy a private dinner aboard the Princess ship
tonight.
13. Explore Ketchikan / Tlingit Cultural
Heritage
Dock in Ketchikan this morning. Once the ancestral home of the Tlingit,
Haida and Tsimshian, the city boasts the world's largest totem-pole
collection; see local totem carvers at work, and watch traditional
Tlingit and Haida dances. Ketchikan is also the "Salmon Capital of the
World;" fishermen may want to take advantage of a charter boat salmon
fishing excursion (additional charge of $195 per person).
14. Inside Passage Cruising Day at Sea
Spend the day cruising through the Inside Passage. Take an aerobics
class, work out in the state-of-the-art gym, swim, bask in the sun, or
relax in a whirlpool. Daily entertainment options, as well as
exclusive Tauck special events and a presentation by a naturalist,
ensure a memorable time on your relaxing day at sea.
15. Disembark Vancouver / Fly Home
Disembark and proceed through Canadian Customs and Immigration. Tour
ends: Vancouver Airport at 10:00 AM. Allow a minimum of two hours for
flight check-in; flights direct to the United States clear U.S.
customs in Vancouver.
