 1. Arrive Memphis  Tour departs: Memphis International Airport at 1:00 PM. Visit Graceland, home of Elvis Presley and shrine to one of America's great musical legends. Travel into the heart of Memphis, the "City on the Bluffs" that overlooks the mighty Mississippi River. Arrive at the famous Peabody Hotel in time to witness the daily parade of ducks fromthe lobby's marble fountain. Meals D 2. Marlsgate Plantation Depart mid-morning for a tour of Memphis including Beale Street, home of the blues. After time to explore, journey to Little Rock, capital of Arkansas, where your hotel is in the heart of the city. Join us for a welcome dinner at lovely Marlsgate Plantation. Meals BD 3. Hot Springs National Park The resort town of Hot Springs, located in the Ouachita Mountains surrounding Hot Springs National Park, has long been famous for its thermal springs. Tour the park today and visit Bathhouse Row; enjoy a whirlpool bath and massage in the hotel's famous spa – a Tauck exclusive! It's a wonderful way to experience the relaxing, therapeutic qualities of these thermal waters first discovered by Native Americans thousands of years ago. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to explore the resort. Meals BLD 4. Ozark Mountains / Branson Journey north this morning into the heart of the Ozarks. The drive is considered one of the nation's most scenic. Beautiful vistas await as you motor through the Ouachita and Ozark National Forests. After lunch in Jasper, arrive in Branson, Missouri. Once a small and sleepy town, Branson has emerged as one of the country's most popular entertainment destinations. Your hotel is Chateau On The Lake, one of Branson's newest premier resorts. Enjoy a performance tonight at one of the many theatres in Branson. Meals BLD 5. Discover Branson  Tauck has arranged a number of different activities today – it's your choice! Depending on departure date, possibilities range from sightseeing excursions outside of the city to entertainment events. You'll also enjoy some time at leisure to explore Branson's many attractions and entertainment complexes; the city is renowned for specialty shopping, from antique stores to local artists' hand-crafted goods. Join us for another performance at one of Branson's theatres, where a variety of headline music, comedy, dance and magic shows awaits! Meals B 6. Lake of the Ozarks Travel through the beautiful scenery of the Ozark Mountains to the world famous Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Springfield. Much more than an outdoor equipment store, it features an amazing wildlife museum and aquariums. Arrive in St. Louis, where your hotel for the next two nights is centrally located near Busch Stadium, the home of the St. Louis Cardinals. Meals BL 7. Explore the City of St. Louis Tour the "Gateway" city of St. Louis; visit the Westward Expansion Museum, providing a compelling look at those who settled the West in the 19th century, and Gateway Arch. Ride a tram to the top of the arch for a spectacular view 630 ft. above the banks of the Mississippi River. Your afternoon is at leisure exploring this city that's synonymous with Mark Twain and Scott Joplin. Join us this evening for a farewell river cruise and dinner. Meals BD 8.
