Hawai'i! We will be waiting to take you to the Royal Hawaiian
Hotel; see if you can tell why it is called the "Pink Palace of
the Pacific." This historic resort will be your island home for
the next two nights – the perfect spot to enjoy the world-famous
Waikiki Beach. Meals D
Day 2: See Pearl Harbor and Famous Attractions
Take a sightseeing trip of Oahu this morning, visiting one of the
most famous monuments in Hawai'i at Pearl Harbor, site of the
USS Arizona Battleship Memorial. Then, kick your shoes off
for a barefoot adventure aboard an ultra-sleek catamaran for the
fastest, wettest, ride in Waikiki. Spend the remainder of the day
having fun with your family on beautiful Waikiki Beach. Learn how
to make leis and dance the hula this evening, traditions that
began in ancient Hawaiian times. Meals B
Day 3: Get Set for a Big Island Adventure
Fly to the Big Island of Hawai'i, a real life history and red-hot
geological exhibit that includes volcanoes, lava forests and black
sand beaches! Try your hand at coffee farming today at the
historic Kona Living Coffee Farm, working alongside costumed
interpreters who really bring the plantation's history to life.
Spend the remainder of the day at your world-famous resort,
nestled on the sun-drenched Kohala Coast, where a choice of
activities includes boogie-boarding, snorkeling, swimming and
more! Meals BL
Day 4: Discover Nature at its Most Awesome
Rise early today for a look at some of the Pacific's most bizarre
scenery, from prehistoric pit craters to lava flows that look like
black molasses! See the world's largest, active volcanoes,
discovering craters and lava tubes up close in Volcanoes National
Park. Drive across Kilauea Crater, which has been erupting
steadily since 1983, and walk on the black sand beaches of
Pualau'u. Head into the Kohala Mountains tonight for a "paniolo"
(Hawaiian cowboy) barbecue at the Kahua Ranch.
