Day 3: Hershey's Chocolate World / Gettysburg
Have fun learning the sweet secrets of chocolate-making this
morning as you travel like a virtual cocoa bean through a candy
factory in Hershey's Chocolate World. Drive to Gettysburg National
Military Park this afternoon, site of President Abraham Lincoln's
immortal "Gettysburg Address." Experience poignant reminders of
the history of the Civil War as you tour the battlefields; a major
turning point of the Civil War, the three-day battle at Gettysburg
was the largest and bloodiest of the Civil War.Meals

Day 4: Chesapeake & Ohio Canal / Ghost Walk
Cross the Mason-Dixon Line into Maryland en route to Virginia,
stopping in Great Falls to explore the history of the Chesapeake &
Ohio Canal in the lockhouses, locks and aqueducts that line the
shores of the Potomac River. Drive to Colonial Williamsburg this
afternoon where you will meet a variety of costumed "citizens"
from the 18th century, including craftsmen hard at work, tavern
owners greeting guests or colonial celebrities like Martha
Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Dine at a colonial tavern tonight
and take an intriguing "ghost walk," reliving the patriotic spirit

Day 5: Experience Colonial Williamsburg
Experience life on the eve of the American Revolution in Colonial
Williamsburg; go inside colonial houses and shops, and meet
families as they go about their daily chores, without electricity,
hot running water, telephones, computers or television!

Day 6: George Washington's Mount Vernon
Travel to historic Mount Vernon today for a guided tour of George
Washington's beloved plantation; explore his house and learn what
life was like for the "Father of Our Country." This afternoon,
venture into our nation's capital, stopping at the Smithsonian's
National Museum of American History; see real objects from real
events that helped shaped America, including the original
Star-Spangled Banner and President Lincoln's top hat.

Day 7: Explore Washington, DC
Discover famous national landmarks today on a guided tour that
takes you to see the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials, the White
House, the United States Capitol Building, and the intriguing
International Spy Museum. This afternoon, explore the city on your
own, perhaps seeing vintage aircraft at the Air and Space Museum,
or strolling through the parks of the National Mall.
