1. Arrive Seattle
Tour begins: Seattle Airport at 1:30 PM. Once a sleepy sawmill town in
the mid-19th century, an afternoon sightseeing tour provides a look at
this “Emerald City,” flanked by the Cascade and Olympic Mountains.
Join us for an exclusive welcome dinner cruise on lovely Lake

2. Olympic Peninsula
Sail across Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula, and view scenic
vistas en route to Port Angeles for lunch. A ferry takes you for a
tranquil cruise to Vancouver Island. Arrive in the charming city of
Victoria, capital of British Columbia. Your hotel overlooks the
splendid natural harbor, where sloops and catamarans line the waters.

3. Butchart Gardens / Victoria
Visit magnificent Butchart Gardens, featuring different styles of
landscapes brilliantly aflame with thousands of flowers. Return to
Victoria, where the afternoon is at your leisure. Stroll along the
inner harbor, shop for items unique to Canada or sample the spa and
fitness center at your hotel. This friendly and charming city offers a
variety of attractions to explore and unique restaurants to sample.

4. Gulf Islands / Vancouver
Ferry through the tranquil Gulf Islands – almost 200 islands of
different shapes and sizes, each with its own distinct features.
Arrive in Vancouver, a cosmopolitan and culturally diverse city set
beneath the peaks of the Coast Mountains. Explore Vancouver this
afternoon at your leisure, perhaps visiting landmark sites such as
Stanley Park, Prospect Point, Gastown or Chinatown. Meals BL
5. Howe Sound / Whistler
Cross Vancouver’s landmark Lions Gate Bridge to fast-growing North
Vancouver, and
travel on the “Sea to Sky Highway” along the shoreline of Howe
Sound; some of Canada’s most beautiful scenery is found along this
coastline. Arrive at Whistler, the largest year-round resort in
Canada. Meals BD
6. Vistas of British Columbia
Travel through the snow-capped mountains of the Coast Range and
the fertile Pemberton Valley into the high desert of interior British
Columbia, renowned for its natural resources that include agriculture
and timber. Continue through the region’s commercial center of
Kamloops, and on to the pristine setting of Sun Peaks, one of the
province’s newest ski resort developments. Meals BLD
7. Yellowhead Highway / Jasper
The northern reaches of the province are remote and isolated; today’s
travel is along the original route of the Canadian National Railroad.
Follow historic Yellowhead Pass through forests and valleys to Mount
Robson, at 12, 973 ft. the Canadian Rockies’ highest peak. Enjoy a
two-night stay at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Meals BLD
8. Jasper National Park
Today is at your leisure. The lakeside resort is a “village” of
cottages and cabins along picturesque pathways. You’ll discover many
optional activities – hiking, golfing, swimming, tennis or simply
reflecting on the spectacular vistas. Additional activities might
include white water raft rides on the Athabasca River, a walk around
Lac Beauvert, or perhaps a visit to the town of Jasper. Meals

9. Icefields Parkway
The Icefields Parkway winds through a panorama of snow-domed peaks,
hanging glaciers and waterfalls. Visit Athabasca Glacier for a ride on
the glacier in a specially-built
vehicle to learn about its crevasses, seracs, and other
features. The valleys along the parkway are seasonal homes for
wildlife; you may see deer, moose, bighorn sheep, or bear along the
way. Arrive late afternoon at the beautiful resort of Château Lake
Louise. In the spring there is often late snow, framing the lake and
glacier with lofty snowbound peaks – a memorable sight! Meals

10. Lake Louise / Banff
The morning is free to walk along the lake’s lovely promenade, swim in
the hotel’s pool or enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Visit lovely
Moraine Lake, conditions permitting, before descending along the Bow
River Valley to Banff National Park, nestled among the peaks of the
Canadian Rockies. Your home for the next two nights is the baronial
Fairmont Banff Springs overlooking scenic vistas of magnificent Bow
Valley – one of Canada’s most inspirational settings. Meals

Banff is a lovely village that is surrounded by magnificent beauty.
The day is free for you to explore Banff on your own; optional
activities include golf and swimming, or perhaps pampering yourself in
the hotel’s renowned spa; independent sightseeing can be arranged. We

12. Journey Home
Depart Banff National Park and travel to Calgary. Tour ends:
Calgary International Airport at 10:00 AM. Allow a minimum of
two hours for flight check-in; flights direct to the United States
